While you apply for your Aadhar card, it is advisable to provide with all the details then and there like email id and mobile number. VERIFYING REGISTERED MOBILE NUMBER

Step 1: Go to the official Aadhar website www.uidai.gov.in and log in.
Step 2: under the ‘Aadhar Services’ tab, select the ‘Verify Email/Mobile Number’ tab.
Step 3: fill in your 12-digit Aadhar number, registered mobile number, email address and security code flashed at the screen.
Step 4: An OTP (One Time Password) would be sent to your registered mobile number.
Step 5: click ‘Verify OTP’
Step 6: once the verification is done successfully, you will see a green tick on the screen with a message saying ‘The mobile number 1234567891 matches with our records’.

FIRST TIME MOBILE REGISTRATION WITH AADHAR

Follow these steps if you wish to register your mobile number to your Aadhar account for the first time;
Step 1: Download and print the Aadhar update form from the UIDAI website and furnished the desired details you wish to add or update. You can also get the form from the nearest Aadhar center.
Step 2: it would be required to mention that only the mobile number is to be updated. To the concerned officer submit the form and copies of other supporting documents like Aadhar Card, POI like passport or PAN card etc.
Step 3: after form submission, your biometrics will be cross-verified with the ones recorded during the time of Aadhar card application.
Step 4: Once verified, you will be provided with an acknowledgment slip and expect the update to take place within 5 to 10 days.
